The Roku streaming stick is a great little device with one BIG problem. The remote does not work on it half the time. We ended up downloading a rokue remote app on our phones to use instead of the streaming stick remote. Other than that we really like the streaming stick.
I would recommend this to a friend!

some freezing up between remote and stick. pop out battery and reinstall. then everything works fine again. bought a roku 2 for our daughter. it has no problems

Already Broke

I don't know if I handled it too rough, but the usb connection is already bent, so the stick operates sporadically. I don't think I'd get another one; I'll just stick with the other style of Rokus of which I have two. The stick design seems to make it too vulnerable to being bent or broken.

The small usb power cord does not stay plugged in. I had to use scotch tape to hold it in place. Not sure if this is just mine or all of them. My remote stopped working after one day, but I just use the app on my phone. This was for a second tv in a bedroom, so for that it's fine. For my main tv I use a normal Roku and it works much better.

I've been thinking of disconnecting cable/directv and I am so glad I found this. I am saving money and only pay for the things that I want to watch. The remote doesn't work that great, but I use my iPhone which is easy.

I love my Roku stick. I no longer have to have my wi attached to the tv I watch, nor do I have to hook up my laptop. My tv now does what they had to. I mainly watch Netflix but have really enjoyed have Pandora for background music when I am sewing or working in my office. I haven't tried very many of the other options but there are quite a few. I would definitely recommend this to everyone,
