Poor wifi range

Adds the familiar and loved Roku interface in a small package. Perfect for secondary tv's. While the interface is great, the wifi range of this unit is terrible. I had to buy a wifi repeater to get this stick online, when all my other devices reported a strong wifi signal. This completely voids the appeal of an inexpensive device with a small footprint.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my Roku! I watch it more then my directtv. Probably 3 to 4 hours a day. Best money I have spent in a long while. If I didnt have a contract I would ditch my current tv choice and only use the roku

Worth every penny

I was able to get Netflix, HULU and others on my computer. However I watch most of my TV in the family room and my bedroom. So I purchased 2 for my LED tv. and the view is tremendous. It is surprisingly easy to set up for a non electronics guy like me. I was up and running in about 10 minutes. (most if which was the system updating itself). If there is any downside it is that I would like to have some kind on mini keyboard as the remote provided uses a matrix in the search feature which in my mind takes to long to spell the search.
I still rate this stick a 5 star for its simplicity and everything works.
I would recommend this to a friend!
