Before purchasing my Roku in Spring of 2015, I had heard of it for years. I never really considered purchasing because we had a game system that offered what I assumed was a lot of what Roku offered. Boy was I wrong! Although you do get your popular apps like Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, ect. Roku offers so much more! Hard to find movies, Tv shows, Extras, and Shorts. Including a lot of lesser known independent stuff that I have come to love! Our Roku is here to stay! Thank you!

This is my 2nd Roku device. My first was for an older TV (composite cables). I use them both. I prefer Roku over my Smart TV Apps. I don't have HD cable so I watch ESPN thru Roku which is in full screen HD. Great device with ease of use. 5 stars.

I like the roku stick in that I don't have to rent cable box however. It goes out and I have to reset quite frequently. Also. I don't like that there is no numbers. You have to scroll to search for channel

Happy to ditch cable and stream TV for a fraction of the cost. Stick works great although remote seems to freeze up so I had to download the remote on my phone, no volume control on the roku remote that's a minus.
