To use the Roku Stick, all that is required is an HDMI port and a USB port (though there is also the option to plug into a wall outlet). After plugging it in for the first time, it's just a matter of linking up the remote, connecting to your Wi-Fi, and then you're off and running! Picture is crystal clear with a variety of different apps to choose from.
Been about a month since I bought it and it's working great for everyone in the family. It has May features, many watching options and its wayyyyy cheaper than cable.
The first month it was strangely gobbling up batteries but now has since stopped. I have no clue what was going on. Highly recommend the Stick. Had the XD
I bought it this is great. I love to watching tv any different movie and tv and some free. My prefer is netflix and hulu. Thank you much, great excellent roku.
I bought the roku probably a month ago. The remote stopped working a week after I had it. So I downloaded the app on my phone. It works just like the remote but compared to my Apple TV I would probably pick Apple TV over roku bc I rarely have problems with my Apple TV my roku says it can't connect to my internet a lot of times. Just frusterating.
I really like the ROKU Stick. I use it primarily for hotel use (which mostly works, the issue is getting around the hotel's internet gateway) but it works great at home on my Wi-Fi. It is unfortunate that the ROKU Stick remote is a piece of junk! Every single time I use my ROKU Stick, I have to remove a battery to get the remote to work. Ridicuous! I had read other reviewers say that before I bought it...and its only because the ROKU Stick is so good that I live with this absolutely horrible remote. If you can live with the remote issue,, then you are golden!
