Works sometimes

Have two of them, one in bedroom works great. It is close to router. One in living room is further away from router will not work all the time. My Roku 3 works fine in living room.

Great features

Although we have not used all features on streaming stick we are really pleased with having replay facility that can be used up to a month. Although we have to keep taking batteries out as it freezes.

I like the Roku stick, works well and there are so many channels. I do miss the headphone jack, which I believe comes with the Roku box version.

This is my third Roku device. Yes, I'm that impressed. I have an older model Roku 2 on our living room set, and it still performs flawlessly. We have a Roku TV (excellent HD TV with Roku built in), and now the Roku Streaming Stick in the office. I expected it to work flawlessly, and I was not disappointed! Roku provides everything we need and an excellent platform for growth. NO more cable.

Couldn't get the hang of it

I found it ackward to use; hard to understand, and seems like everything comes with an extra fee. I'm going to give it so a friend with more patience than me.

I love my Roku, and it's opens. It would get a full 5 star review if not for the system frequently freezing. There is a widely reported problem involving the Roku's and their streaming, which often results in them freezing during buffering - meaning that you lose your show entirely. This seems to be a problem with when shows get popular and many people are watching it, such as the Walking Dead season premier. This problem is fairly unique to the Roku, and I never encountered these issues with my Google Chrome. I have a very extensive high speed internet connection, and when I am streaming on my Roku I am usually alone on the bandwidth and thus have a low ping rate. Roku needs to address the streaming slow down problem to make this a 5 star product.

Excellent on a budget

I bought this a month ago and am very happy I did. Less expensive than the Roku 3 with a box, and doesn't have all the features of the 3 but it is a wonderful addition to my TV viewing.
