Good overall but 3 irritating faults, 1 the system seems to stop responding to the remote after a while which seems to be solved by removing the batteries and replacing them, 2 the fast forward and rewind buttons are very flakey in YouTube and 3 the remote buttons require a lot of pressure.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love my streaming stick! I would get another one for the tv in the living room, but I have an older tv there so until I get a new one, I am stuck with the older model. That works well, too.

I have the Roku and it works, but the remote keeps loosing reception with the stick. We take the back off to take out the batteries for the remote to connect. That is frustrating.

I have bought this about 3 weeks ago and have had to replace the batteries in the remote 4 times and it still don't work right

I used to love my Roku stick because it was easy to set up, easy to use and the programs were very user friendly (I have an Apple TV too and the Roku format for programs like Hulu and Netflix are easier to use). I used to tell everyone to get it instead of the Roku 3. However, I've had to have it replaced TWO times and the 2nd replacement unit is also starting to fail. I believe the problems are primarily caused by overheating of the Roku stick. I have started unplugging it after use and it seems to have slowed the failure rate, but it's only a matter of time. I have a Roku 3 and aside from the no "sleep" or "off" feature, there are no problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
