Something went haywire

I bought the stick a few months ago and in the beginning it worked great, then an update was needed and my stick no longer works on my television. I did the updates with my Internet provider but it still does not work. So for now it sits on the tv stand collecting dust.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't know how I lived without my Roku streaming stick. Love the choices especially access to local news in different cities.

I dig my Roku. The remote did break within a month of me having it. It would not pair with the Roku at all. However, customer support was awesome and sent me a replacement at zero cost!

Does not pickup wifi signal very well. I love Roku, but I don't think this stick works well with wifi.

It works well most of the time but for reasons unknown to me it will not always do what's expected. Wouldn't always load Netflix,but the smart TV would. Don't know why.

This is really handy. Particularly to plug into our outdoor projector, or for use when traveling! love it. The connector did bend rather easily however, and doesn't stay in place any longer. I would recommend this, but handle with care.

I have been a roku user for a while. The first Roku stick I bought was for traveling purposes. However, after a few days of use I was convinced to change all media players in my home to the Roku Stick. That's 4 Sticks at home. Also replaced 2 more at my in-laws home when their media devices failed. My father in law was so impressed he told his son about it. My brother-in-law bought 3 for his home. I guess we have become a Roku family. We recommend the Roku Stick to everyone who is looking for a fast yet cheap and easy to use media player.
