This by far blows away Sony players. It's quick remote response easy fluid menus and crisp interface is just way better than any I have bought so far...better than Sony amazon or google.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I love it. The only drawback is the remote, it goes off and you have to fuss with the batteries to get it moving again. I think you should have a better remote.

I received the Streaming Stick as a bonus for signing up with Sling TV for 3 months. The remote continues to lose connection with the Steaming Stick. I can get it to reconnect by un-plunging the Stick, but then it only works for a few minutes before it loses connection again. I downloaded an App from the Apple App Store to use my iPhone as the remote. The phone doesn't lose connection but it doesn't have the tactile feel of a real remote. In other words you have to look at the phone to touch the correct remote function instead of feeling the remote buttons. Also this drains the phone's power. Do not buy this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Though I did buy refurbished and have small issues I absolutely love my roku stick!! I can watch my favorite shows on twc TV and Netflix, play some of my favorite games and enjoy an amazing streaming service!

Roku HDMI Stick/Controller

I am new at this watching TV programs via the ROKU HDMI/Controller. As an Ol' Feller (65 yrs old,) and not that much on being too adept on PC stuff, I found that the installation was so VERY easy and learning about being able to watch the SAME TV programs that DirecTV has only NO COMMERCIALS during the Programs ! This makes me VERY Happy to comment on ! I am now thinking about discontinuing my Monthly DIRECTV Account ! The Monthly price ROKU has is just GREAT !

I bought this so we would have Roku on more than one tv. The stick is easy to plug in and use. Sometimes I have to have the remote at the right angle to catch the signal. I
wish it came with more than one remote or that it was easy to pick up another one.

I am very happy with the set up of the apps one problem is the power cord is a little off on it so sometimes the stick goes off and I have to go wiggle the cord I may be returning this item and exchanging it for one that doesn't do that otherwise I'm extremely happy

I just completed my 7th Roku purchase and can only tell you that these are the best for any TV. They work flawlessly the setup is so easy a 10 year old can do it..
