It is a steady player, no problems so far. But I've also got a Roku 3, which loads much faster (2-5 seconds faster than the stick lol). But I leave the Roku 3 in the living room and I put the Stick in the bedroom...so worries. Outside of the slight lag, great device!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Almost Great!

This is an almost 5 star rating and would have been. The Roku is a great way to way to watch TV and for the most part works fantastic. the only problem is the remote control. It loses contact with the Roku stick a lot lately so far i hhave figured out how to reset everything after an hour of trial and error I hit a solution that is working so far and I have had to reset it the last two days after watching awhile. it is annoying. and I hope my solution keeps working. it blinks and blink to no avail and you loose control of the stick and what is plying or cant urn it to anything.
Other than this it is a great product. I have to unplug my router my Roku take the batteries out of the remote all over again hook it up one thing at a time and start over. And no it does not loose my log in to the WiFi and such so far when I do this.
It is a great product but for this remote problem and I hope it does not continue. I had the stick and used it a week or so before this started. Sine I have the warranty if this continues or the remote fix i figured out stops working Roku will be hearing from me.
I love the Roku and it is a good price for what you get. and I realy enjoy iy. it is easy to install and easy to use.. It has the one flaw is all.

have to buy a new Roku stick have to take back off the old one every now and then to make Roku work take battires out put them back in to make it work

I travel alot and live in an apartment so trying to take a box with me on the road with a power plug and RCA cables is a pain in the but. Being able to simply plug in an hdmi and USB to power it and have all my shows their is very convenient it honestly replace my cable. Hulu and Netflix together replace cable plus with the list of application in the store there is nothing this thing can't do.

I bought this about a month ago, and I was and am truly pleased with the product. The shipping was very fast. I got it refurbished, and it really did look brand new. The plastic was still on it and everything. It was super easy to set up, and I really don't get along well with technology! I love how many different channels there are. It's wonderful all around.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Features but limited.

Initially had trouble setting up the stick. Had to get my router upgraded to 10 Mps & had to purchase a WiFi Range Extender because my Router is more than 20 feet from the stick. Would like to be able to access local news station in both Phoenix and Tucson, AZ. Also would like to be able to get the Military and Outdoor Channels. Would also be good if one could receive live broad casts from Fox News & CNN.

Excellent product.. I have Roku 3 and the Stick performance as good as the Roku 3..I highly recommend to have the stick plug in to the wall , unless your TV USB can still manage to send power to the Roku stick while your TV is Off...THE Roku stick and like the Roku 3 benefit from always being ON(like always being update,ready to go and not rebooting all the time when you turn it on), THE Roku will go to sleep mode if not being use.. IF not your going to have issues like Disconnecting from the wifi, control not being pair etc..so the ROKU most be always ON!!
