operation is sketchy..i change and fiddle with the batteries constantly to try and get it to communicate with the TV...useless

This is heads and tails better than the ROKU BOX. Just plug this in and you have a Smart TV. It can stream all of out Time Warner cable channels which allowed us to put a TV in our new family room without installing a cable drop there. Only problem is the remote loses contact with the ROKU stick ocasionaly. I have to unplug everything to get it to work again

The quantity of choices is very good. It's interesting, thought, that the buffering only happens during the show, not the commercials. What's up with that?
