So Far So Good

We have had the RokuStik only a few weeks, but it seems to fill the void left when we cancelled our Satellite and installed an over the air antenna. That gets us about 10 channels but only offers 2 that run the good stuff (as in old stuff). We find it easy to program and use although there are too many channels that still require payment for what you watch. We do not pay ever for shows and or movies, so even Roku limits us somewhat. I realize Roku is not responsible for the charges, so what is left that is free coupled with our antenna provides us with plenty of shows to fill the 2 or 3 hours a day we watch TV. After 8 pm when the new bad stuff starts we are now able to switch to Roku to get good shows from the past. For that alone it is worth the $47.

Just terrible

When it does work it's slow and clunky and that's just when it does work.
Save yourself the trouble and just get a Roku 2/3 because for the asking retail price this stick is horrible at what it's suppose to do.

Great product with many different apps too choose from but the response time from remote to the receiver is delayed or slow. It also seems to have some sort of glitch that causes it to go haywire and get stuck scrolling or moving from one direction or another. Its kewl that it has a screensaver but not very many interesting choices, if you have broadband cable internet, as we do, this is perfect, but if you have dsl or a slower internet connection, this doesn't work very well with that type of service.

We LOVE the search feature which shows you all options available for a selected movie or every movie a certain actor/actress is in! Sometimes I play with the search so long I forget to watch anything! Great device on so many levels! Worth every penny!
