roku steaming stick hdmi version

I bought this two months ago and I love it. This device has saved me money and better than having cable. I can watch what I want. All the seasons and catch up on things I haven't watch in awhile.

Received my first ROKU as a gift from my daughter who is more tech savvy than me. I loved it. Went out and bought one for a gift for my friend. She loved it. As seniors on a limited income that love TV this has saved me and my friends a ton of money on cable. This is now my go to gift for my friends and family. I absolutely love my ROKU and find more shows everyday to watch. One danger though....I have become a binge watcher! LOL!! Have missed some Mahjong games! Lol. Oh and the set up is EASY!

Meets Expectations.

I've been using this Roku Streaming Stick for a few weeks. I bought it to put in a bedroom at the far end of my house. I usually watch NetFlix or YouTube and it performs okay. What I did find, and the setup instructions hinted at, is the stick and remote are very wifi sensitive. I had to raise my router about a foot above it's position so it was not behind my PC Display. The display was shielding the router and cause the Roku to freeze up on a regular basis. Also, the quality of TV picture is not as good as a wired connection. But I am quite satisfied with the device.

remote control sucks

I bought it about a month ago and the streaming itself is great. However the remote constantly goes in and out. The batterys we have to take them out and put them back in every few steps if searching or typing. Wish we could just buy a new remote without the whole stick and setting it up. Witch was a pain to do without a cc. With kids and other adults watching I diddnt feel comfortable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Loved this product. All I had to do was plug it in the hdmi port of my tv & I get to watch Netflix & other great channels.

System is good- remote not so much.

I like the features of the roku however the remote likes to not work sometimes and I have to remove the batteries and put them back in in order to restore functionality of the remote.

Wide variety of options to watch

I would love my roku more if the remote would work reliably. When it does work I enjoy using it. It was easy to plug in but then the remote problems started. I have paired it several times. It works for a few days then suddenly no connection. Very annoying
