Remote freezes!

So far I really do like the Roku stick. The most frustrating thing about this is the remote is constantly freezing up and won't do anything. I have changed the batteries twice. Other times I have to remove the stick, unplug the power source and/or remove and replace the batteries OR all of the above. I could just sit there staring at the TV forever waiting for it to unfreeze- but I literally don't have that kind of patience. There is no known "reset" .. other than that super annoying feature, it seems to do well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this a year ago, and I was so disappointed,because I was having a problem getting it to work. After numerous attempts to log into system,I discovered that I was using the wrong password. It now works great.

Just had replace it after 2 months. Stopped connecting to anything. It's real convenient when I'm traveling a lot. I really like it. Hope this one doesn't break.

Love the apps on the roku stick

However, the remote for this device is terrible. We bought 3 Roku streaming sticks, first generation. The remotes on each of them is sticky. Too many times, the remotes don't seem to be communicating with the stick. There are too may freezes. We're constantly having to flip the batteries or remove and reinsert the stick into the HDMI port. Please, make a reliable remote.
