When I have marathon cooking sessions, my Roku makes streaming of Ted Talks, movies and Pandora possible. WAY more interesting than the limitless options of much less interesting programing on cable.
This has been the best investment. I still have basic cable but Roku has been so great that I will be purchasing another stick for a second TV, then cancelling Cable.
I've had the Roku Streaming Stick for 3 weeks now and it is horrible. The remote control constantly freezes and I have to remove and replace the batteries in order for it to work. There have been issues streaming content from several channels including Hulu and Netflix where I can access the channel but when I pick a movie or show it just doesn't load so I have to reset the stick multiple times. So frustrating. I had the Classic Roku for years and never had these issues. Unfortunately Roku dropped support for the Classic players and I had to "upgrade."
I love my Roku. I like having a cheaper option than what cable had to offer. I live in a apartment and I'm not able to have dish. This is great way to have a lot of good Chanel's and not have to pay an arm and a leg.
