Big disappointment

Bought this and I cut the cable, what a mistake. This will not fill the bill for that purpose. Do not waste your money on Sling TV, it can't handle the volume of subscribers (bandwidth issues) and haven't see a prime time show without interruption. You can only use one Roku at a time on Sling.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't bother with Roku stick

We bought our Roku 3 Stick in March and have had 2nd thought from day one. The stick gets very hot, the remote doesn't work. I tried many times dealing with the support and they sent me another remote for free and the result was still the same. A remote that would not operate. I had to go to my IPhone and use the Roku app as a remote in order to watch. I should have stayed withe the Roku box. It works perfectly in the other room. I would not suggest Rolu 3.

I quit using it because it starts buffering about 30 minutes in and never recups. I finish watch movies on my computer with Netflix etc. Wanted to watch on TV. I waited too long to return it.

My son purchased Roku for 2 of our TVs. I love being able to get all of my streamed channels in one place.

LOVE the roku streaming stick......you get way more from it than cable tv. There are thousands of free channels you can get plus netflix and huluplus.
