Better than Cable

I bought the Roku stick about a month ago. It's perfect for my life. I'm able to watch my sling tv, netflix, hulu, and many other free apps. I can easily move it from one tv to another, small and discreet. It really is the perfect device for watching exactly what I want. I've been disconnected from cable for over 13 years. I don't plan to go back.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Remote broken, luckily I can still use phone app

The device itself is fine, however the remote that came with it eats batteries within a half hour, there must be an internal short somewhere.

I've had my Roku stick for 3 months. At times it works great, others not so much. It has to be reset 3-5 times a week.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased this to replace my daughters chromecast in order to have a remote control. The remote will not stay connected and after a few weeks foes not work at all. I have two other roku threes that have been excellent purchases.
