easy to use.

I've tried so many different ways to watch Netflix on my television but my television isn't exactly a new model yet not exactly an old model either. Xbox, blu ray smart DVD player etc. Nothing worked with my television but the ROKU is doing the job very nicely.

So much better than the Amazon Fire Stick!

I purchased the Roku Streaming Stick after owning a Amazon Fire Stick. I had so many problems with the Amazon Fire Stick and decided to make a change. I'm so glad that I purchased the Roku Streaming Stick. It works great and does what it's supposed to do! Great job Roku!

It was so easy to install & I am able to press my remote anywhere toward the TV. I used to ha be a box. I even have one button push for Netflix. I love it. I'm going to buy another for upstairs!

Doesn't seem to work with Amazon

I have Amazon Prime. I chose to rent a movie from Amazon. When I went to play it the screen said HDCO unauthorized Content disabled.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received a free Roku streaming stick for donating to my local PBS. Roku has provided much content, and made it all more accessible.

Love my roku stick!!! I would buy a roku for every tv in my house. My kids have one in their room and can use it with out assistance and love how easy it is for them to navigate to their favorite apps

A Great Solution for an Aging Smart TV

I have a Vizio Smart TV in my bedroom which is a few years old... ancient in terms of modern technology. However, the TV works great but the built-in apps are out of date and don't work so well, especially Amazon streaming. Furthermore, I can't get HBO Now or Showtime streaming either. I have a Roku 3 which I got in 2013 on my larger Vizio in my living room and love it. I wanted to add one to my bedroom TV but it is wall mounted with the cables in the wall. I did not want to fish another cable through the wall to accommodate the Roku 3 which I felt was too large to just hide behind the TV. And there was the issue of the power brick as well. Then I found out about the "stick" and that was the perfect solution. It plugs neatly into a side HDMI port and draws its power from a nearby USB port and is almost completely out of sight. My TV just got a lot smarter.
