When we decided to cut the cable and use Roku instead, we upgraded our internet bandwidth and bought a new router/modem. However, despite these upgrades, the stick froze up constantly. We returned it to the store and purchased a Roku 2 instead. We love the Roku 2! It operates flawlessly! But the stick was a disaster.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have had this a few weeks and regret not getting it sooner. It is so much easier to use than a DVD player or smart TV, and it has more content than those..

If you buy this one to watch Chinese TV, stop!

Easy to install. But streaming mainland Chinese TV is not successful, and got wrose since I purchade. So if it is your goal, dont buy it.

I bought this to use the sling app and have found the device to work well. The layout on the menu is easy to use and navigate. My only criticism is that for those of us that have to use the power cord, it needs to be a little longer. Depending on how you have things set up you might have to do some reconfiguring to get the cord to stretch far enough.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like all the options ... But only had it for a month and Remote quit working .. Even tried all the fixes.. still no workie...use the app on my phone wish I had a new one
