Beware of problem remote

I had bought this product due to my VISIO Large Screen access to Hulu and Nexflix going out. All I had to do was plug in the stick and I had the two services up and going again after simple entering of information required. The problem started when a week after purchase, I would attempt to choose a movie, show or service and press the OK button. The remote would either not register I wanted this or it would run through all the options super fast as if it was crazy. I would at times need to power off the Stick to get it to stop. It has consistently encounters this same problem, either not select what I wanted to watch when I pressed OK or go crazy with running through all the options. Not happy with what should have been a solution to get my NetFlix or Hulu when my Vizio not even a year old was no longer a smart screen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Finally the news we wanted even though it costs subscription. The remote is flimsy and works only when it wants so I use my phone with the app instead. One more thing on the remote laden table! Ughhh!

Great device

I have a Roku 3 in my bedroom that I absolutely love. I needed to get one for the living room and decided on the Roku streaming stick. The TV has a USB port built in and it works great. My only complaint is that the remote unpairs all the time. I haven't really tried to fix it, I use the Roku app which works great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Needs very strong signal

I bought this for a second TV because the Roku 3 worked so well on our primary TV. What a disappointment. The "stick " said it had a good signal strength but it kept dropping the programs. Moved the router, moved the TV, nothing helped. Could not watch any streaming programs. Sent it back for a refund. I guess you have to spend more to get it to work.
