Great Stick, Horrible Remote :(

Loved the stick but the remote would not stay connected for me. Had to pull the batteries every few minutes to reset it so it would work for another few minutes. Returned the first one thinking it was a fluke but the second did the same thing. Android remote app worked great but I didn't think I should have to depend on it and not the remote to be able to use the stick.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love having choice

Bought this for my son's TV to go with Roku2 box on living room TV. He loves it, just as I very much enjoy my Roku on the living room TV. It gives us both individual choices of what and when we can watch, at a time of our choosing. We are not limited to what is on our regular TV provider channels. It is easy to install, both of mine work with my wireless modem, that is in a different room from both TV's. Have been very happy with choice to get both Roku's. There is a very large selection of free channels, along with several paid channels. We added Netflix to our free channels. Look forward to future additions and services as they are added.

Kept shutting off for no reason. I would start to stream a show and the roku would stop streaming video and restart the whole system. I would not recommend this stick. I have the roku 3 which works fine but the stick is pure junk.

Brought it about a month ago, easy to install and takes up no room. Love the stick, hate the remote, have to rotate the batteries a couple times a day.
