"Retrieving" "Please Wait"

We bought this Roku Streaming Stick to watch HBOGo and Netflix in our living room, but it takes forever to load. It always has "retrieving" and "please wait..." messages up. HBOGo never loads right away it takes a long time and then does not always work when it does load. I have had it for five days now and I am planning on returning this product to the store.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Slow and glitchy

I was given this Roku stick as a promotional gift for signing up for Sling TV. If I had spent my oun money for it I would certainly send it back. It is slow and glitchy and often unresponsive. I have a Roku 3 and Roku LT and both are much better. I can't recommend the stick.

I love Roku!

I bought this a few months ago, and it's good but I can't use it in the room I bought it for because he already has an Xbox and a blu Ray plugged in, so there is not enough room for the Riki to fit in the 3rd HDMI spot. Plus, it glitches on occasion. Sometimes it freezes and I have to unplug it completely, sometimes the controller will sudden start racing through all the menu and I can't stop it, again, have to unplug it. Can't tell if it's a controller problem or the stick issue. All in all, I need one more, it will be another Roku 3. It's perfect.

This is my second roku in a year that doesn't work

The first roku I bought the remote stopped working within 2 weeks... I returned it & bought the streaming stick. I really like it until tonight when it stopped working. First it overheated & now nothing at all.... I've only had it a few months. Not happy!!!!
