Easy to use

I like it. I thought I would have a lot of buffering with the streaming but it is pretty flawless. It was easy to setup. My only complaint is the remote. It stopped working after 2 days. I thought it was the batteries but even after replacing with new ones it wouldn't work. I read lots of people have this problem. I downloaded the app on my phone and it works great with that. However I wish the remote would work since I paid for it. .

Overall, I love the ROKU Streaming Stick. My only true compliant is that screen mirroring seem to not yet be supported for Windows 10.

Only 1 drawback

The "stick" functions beautifully. However there is one thing and I must say that is diappointing... I ran an optical cable out of the TV to my 5.1 surround receiver but the only way I get sound is to set the video's audio to stereo. Not only is that true of my receiver, but the TV itself that handles my Uverse surround just fine will have no sound when I choose Dolby 5.1 on Netflix... I haven't tried other services, but I am disappointed that although the Roku allows me to set preferred audio formats to DD, DD+, DST, etc... the sound is NOT delivered unless I set it to stereo 2.0. I cannot get surround either on the TV or the receiver.

Ok for the kids, but Chromecast is easier

I bought this and it does the same thing as my Chromecast. And Chromecast is easier, so I put the Roku in the kids room. It has mostly cartoons for free so it worked out fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
