It does not pick up wifi good no matter where your tv is at in your home or pick up others well either

This very useful ,have had it abuot a month and have accessed movies and streaming I wanted that was not available on fire stick. It will save me money when I go for less expensive cable package.

LOVE THE ROKU STREAMING STICK

Purchased the Roku and was quite leery of using a streaming stick device. I have other devices that are wifi compatible, but the Roku surpasses them by far. It is easy and simple to use. You can add several additions to your Roku to enjoy. Great product!

I bought the Roku stick and returned it within 48 hours. It would fail to find internet connection 75% of the time. It would only find connection after I reset it. When it did work it would buffer every 5-10 seconds making it impossible to watch movies.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you don't need the portability, get a proper roku. It's sluggish, prone to crashes and can be infuriating when streaming higher resolution stuff. It is much better than the Google Chrome cast however, which it has supplanted.
