I absolutely love the search function that allows you to search many apps at once instead of going into each. I also love the remote app on my phone, it's very convenient! I also have an Amazon TV, and I would definitely by the roku stick over Amazon TV.

I purchased the roku stick about a month ago now, I have had the 2nd Gen roku box for several years now as well, the stick is great, works smooth is nice and small to be hidden behind your tv the apps run great on it as well only having a 2nd Gen roku box seeing the new updated apps on the stick was a surprise the are easy to use and visually pleasing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cable is not available where I live so this has been the perfect fix without having to go to the expense of satellite. Love that I can use my iPhone to control it for searches.

It does what the Roku 3 will except for maybe the voice search. Streams HD no problem. Easy setup.

Great Product with Great Viewing Choices

I love the Roku stick, it's easy to set up and there are no wires to hide just simply plug it in and I was able to use power for the TV's USB port. The one down fall is of my two Roku sticks purchased just weeks apart ones remote doesn't work half of the time. I have downloaded the remote app for my phone and use it instead of the remote.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I should have bought a Roku stick years ago! I have a much better selection of programs to watch than I ever had with cable. Roku combined with a digital antenna for local programming it's all I could want at less than 1/3 the cost of cable. Even my cat loves this!!!!! I can bring up YouTube on Roku and he can watch bird and squirrel videos to his heart's content.

Bad remote and stick

The remote is terrible, I have to keep changing the batteries just to get it to connect. The stick will not connect to my wifi most of the time so I very seldom watch anything. I am going to get another product.
