I bought this about a month ago and have loved it ever since! It is so easy to stream different shows and I especially love using it for Netflix!

Very slow

It came with the subscription of Sling TV. It is slow to respond. The remote batteries died within the first week.

Only works when it wants

Was excited to get the stick, but after setting it up it seems to only work when it wants to. Right now rather disappointed with the experience, may have to go back to U-verse.

Great, with lots of options

I received this as a thank you gift for joining KQED PBS Television. I really didn't know what to expect. It is extremely easy to install and use. There are a lot of options and I am sure I haven't discovered all the features yet. When I had an issue with my ACORN subscription and went on the live chat on the ROKU website the person at the other end solved the problem very quickly. So far I am very pleased with this product.

Best Budget Media Streamer

Has a ton of access to apps and a lot to watch. The downside is that the Roku Streaming Stick just isn't very powerful. On some apps, such as the YouTube app, it is very sluggish and slow. Apps load up VERY slowly. This is not a fast, smooth experience. BUT it is a very cheap option and a good way to gain access to media content you want, even if it is a sluggish one.

Roku basic stick is good

Roku basic is just that, it delivers the basic products advertised on the box. We are pleased but at the same time, wish we'd purchased the higher level quality Roku product. Mostly we watch the standard fare (Netflix, HBO Go, etc) but have watched our own videos which requires a wire between the device and Roku (not needed in advanced version).
I would recommend this to a friend!
