I bought this about a month ago, it does have more choices than the Apple TV, but for some reason this little Roku stick gets exstremly hot is this normal? I hope this is not going to create any future problems.

I now own three Roku's and would buy a fourth if I had a 4th TV. I even have one on my SmartTV to pick up programs not carried on cable. It is probably the easiest remote to operate I own and programs stream effortlessly. It is fantastic.

I installed a Roku streaming stick about 2 months ago so that I could access SlingTV, Netflix, etc. It is currently housed inside of a cabinet, and it periodically has a little trouble connecting to wifi. Overall, I've had a solid experience with it. If I had it in a more open area, I'm sure it would be even better.

I am glad i got my Roku streaming stick. It is relatively easy to reboot if you have lost internet signal like we have.

Saving Money

My husband wanted to watch the WWE network and ROKU allows him to do this for a small fee each month. These shows usually cost so much that we would not order them. Now he can see them whenever he wants. I wanted some channels that I could not get with my regular cable network. I first heard about ROKU through Worldview Weekend with Brannon Howse. He does programs that I can live screen through ROKU. It has been a great benefit to us and for a small amount of money.

Great option

I bought the Roku to replace cable. I have Hulu Plus (which was an absolute NIGHTMARE to set up) and Netflix as add ons and I am still saving a ton of money. The only complaint I have is that the remote doesn't seem to work all the time; even with new batteries. The first model I had didn't work at all so I'm concerned about the longevity of the product.
