So-so performance

The stick is sluggish at times and freezes up at other times. Mostly, it is okay. I had a newer Roku box fail on me recently and had to go back to my old Roku box which is several years old, still working fine. Don't make them like they used to?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this stick at Best Buy at the recommendation of a salesperson, since we wanted to get rid of or lower our outrageous cable bill. He showed us all the types available and recommended the Roku Streaming Stick. It as easy to install, has worked great, with only a few problem with the controller, and we cut out our cable bill. Using Roku and Netflix, we can watch just about everything we used to watch on cable, and the price was just great!

Everyday or so I have to remove the batteries and reinsert to get the remote to work. I can't use it for Netflix at all. It goes to Netflix and freezes before it gets to my account. I got this through Sling and when I watch anything it freezes half way through the show. If I restart the show, I have to watch from the beginning because it won't fast forward.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought my first role stick about 8 no the ago. We loved it. I bought a second last month and got did of cable.
Pro's
There are so many channels and features to choose from.

Its a little slow, but for the price point it's tolerable.

I went to buy a Chromecast but I noticed the Roku stick and loved the fact that it comes with a remote. I closed my cable services and replaced it with the Roku stick. Definitely satisfied.
