Works pretty well with Sling TV

I got the Roku stick with signing up with Sling TV. For the most part it works. However sometimes it does buffer or the screen goes black. Not sure if this is the Roku stick or my ISP.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good for what it does

I bought the streaming stick several months ago because i wanted something to hide behind my wall mounted tv. the pros are the small size of the stick. it pretty much does everything the regular roku players do. there are a couple of cons, though. first, the range is less than the regular roku players. second, the netflix interface is the awful, new one. third, unless you plug it into a separate power source, the system reboots each time you turn off and then on your tv.
overall its okay.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this for travel because I have 2 roku 3s at home. I could not get it to work via my portable router in the hotel, and have not yet tried it at home.

Did not work 1 floor above our wifi router

I bought the Roku stick to have in my bedroom which is only one floor above where my wifi router is located and the stick was not able to detect the wifi signal enough to stream anything on it. All other wifi devices (my laptop, my phone, etc.) work fine in my bedroom so I don't understand why the Roku stick has such a weak wifi detector. The stick worked fine when it was on the tv that is right next to the wifi router, but it is useless to me if that's the only tv it works on in my house. Very disappointed. All the low star ratings below are because of this. If it had worked in other locations in my house, it would have been a fantastic purchase, but unfortunately, that is not the case.
