Remote control freeze up

The stick was easy to install. However, when using the remote control; it appears to freeze up. We've replaced the batteries twice. It's a hit-and-miss remote.

I bought this item and I am extremely happy with it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it freezes a lot and the batteries die to quickly.

The stick is fine -- the remote, not so fine

I have a total of three Roku's. Two of them have remotes with AA batteries and one uses AAA batteries. The one with AAA batteries is less reliable than the other two. Its not uncommon that I have to take the batteries out and re-sink the remote with the AAA batteries with the ROKU stick. I don't really have that problem with the remotes that use AA batteries. For content and service, Roku is a 5 star product. For including this remote that uses AAA batteries, 2 stars.

I purchased the roku to get more channels than my playstation 3 offered. I was not disappointed. Im not very tech savvy but the roku set up and use is extremely people friendly and easy to use.Its almost as if you don't even need an instruction booklet to figure it out. Highly recommended! Only mimor minus id that the stick needs to be plugged into the electrical outlet at all times,so hopefully the outlet is close. Besides that by all means purchase it. Very good price too

System locks up occasionally, especially on the ESPN channels and you have to get out and go back into Sling TV to restart.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the Roku streaming stick, makes it easy for me to transfer it from the TV in the living room to the tv in my bedroom! Extremely easy to set up too!

Good for the price, but some issues.

My remote has trouble connecting to the role stick and have to use my iPhone to choose things, and random times it will disconnect from my router. I have great internet and stream HD all the time and it has a hard time keeping up, BUT, it does what I need it to for now, just thought for how new it is, it could perform better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We go camping quite a bit and love that it enable to watch our favorite TV shows and movies when the weather brings us indoors.
