It has changed my life. Not only is it cheaper, it is easy to use and doesn't lag like all the other streaming options I have tried. Only thing I don't like is that the batteries drain in my remote in a week because of the led light. No worries because the app I down loaded on my phone keeps me from having to buy more. It is by far what I recommend to all my friends and family. I have almost converted them all!!

Easy, dependable,great remote and channels galore!

I have never been so happy with a product that will cut the proverbial cord. Roku does that for me and so much more. The availability of so many channels is a wonder to me. I've checked out other products; purchased them. I would hands down by another Roku as opposed to any other option out there.

I bought this and wished I hadn't it is very slow and since I have bought a Roku 3 and it's grest.

Brand new out of the package the buttons on the remote stick and "go crazy". The unit shuts itself off regularly and takes 15 minutes to reboot. Unfortunately I got it as part of a deal with Sling TV so no receipt. Each company wants to blame the other (Roku vs Sling TV). Not impressed.

I was so happy with my Roku 1, that I cancelled my cable and purchased a Streaming Stick for my other TV. Remote freezes every time I use it. I've taken all trouble-shooting measures but to no avail. Very disappointed.
