Got it and a month later it stopped working

When I first got the Roku stick, I was very excited about what all it offered. But four weeks into it, the thing stopped working. I don't know why but I replaced batteries and replugged in the device that attaches to my TV. However, it doesn't work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Way much easier than using a computer to stream!!
The other weekend when the cable went out during the BIG football game of our area, all I had to do is switch to ROKU and finish watching. Another instance when an extended game ran over into the starting time of the one I wanted to watch the cable switched stations for covering.the start of my game. However , that station wasn't in my cable package. So I turned to ROKU and was able to watch the start of that game.
The main reason I like, though, is that ROKU streams a live broadcast of a Christian network that local cable does not carry.

Packs a punch in a little stick

I got this streaming stick around a month ago with Sling TV. It has worked pretty good with all of my apps on it. I have probably around 20. I have not had to reset it any. I have updated it to the latest software. Sling does have a lag sometimes, but I am pretty sure that is with their service. All of my other apps run smooth. The remote that comes with it also has a pretty good sensor. It controls from a lot of different angles. I think it would be nice if there were more options on it though. Overall, it is a pretty good device. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Works Great but has a few glitches

For the most part, it works great. It's not overly sluggish or anything. It's really amazing what it can do while being so small. We mainly use it for SlingTV and HULU.
Remote Issues: Sometimes I find I have to press buttons on the remote more than once to get the expected action. Also, sometimes the remote just stops working and I have to pull one of the batteries out and put it back it.
Unreliable Boot-up? Sometimes it doesn't boot up correctly when power is connected. If I disconnect power and re-connect it, it's fine.

this is very good very comfort only the think i have concern abt watching you tube its very slow forwarding rewarding
and it would great be if there any on off switch on remote so we can save battery a lot thanks
that all other wise all fine ..
