Not happy with Roku Stick

There are some major bugs with the Roku Stick. I have had approximately a month and it is no where near the quality of even my 1st generation Roku. The remote half the time will not respond, it has to be within 20 ft of the router btw. And while trying to get it to change a channel it will start and then get stuck going super fast through the channels and you have to remove the batteries to make it stop. Also the Roku stick will not let me use my facebook photos as my screen saver. I go through the set up process with facebook but when you enter the code Roku keep saying the code is invalid. Other Roku products are great but the stick is worthless at this point. And this last week the roku itself freezes up and have had to unplug and reset. I went through the chat feature on roku website with a tech and he came to conclusion my neighbors wifi was interfering. I would not recommend the stick until it is overhauled, great idea but useless if it doesnt work.

Free movies

It seems that all the free movie channels have a bad problem with showing the commercials. Nearly all of them say they will continue the movies after the commercials. Then the screen just stays where it is or the screen goes black and stays that way! Netflix (which I had subscribed to before getting Roku) works great. Now I don't have to run a cable from my laptop to the TV.

I purchased a new tv for my daughter and it came with Roku on it. She really likes it so I purchased a Roku stick for the living room tv and we really enjoy it.

I bought the Roku so my wife and I could watch shows that we'd been wanting to see, but didn't have premium cable. And we didn't want the expense for just a couple of programs. ROKU lets us stream the content we want without the hassle of getiting HBO or Showtime or whatever from our cable company, amd watching on OUR schedule. Great product! Great idea!

Not Bad, but Not Totally Good Either

It works okay. The remote has problems and I have to reset it all the time. I don't know if it's related to the internet service or what, but it's frustrating. It'll just stop working and I'll have to remove the batteries, push the reset button and then it'll work.

Don't buy for mirroring purposes!

I bought this with the intent to mirror xfinity to go from either my Samsung galaxy or my surface pro 3. Setting up was a breeze; I commend that. However, there is some serious audio/visual delay. I thought it may have been my Internet speed, but that wasn't the case. I was hoping for more of a chromecast quality mirror. Buy chromecast if you only want to mirror from your device.

Freezes way too often

I really enjoy the offerings on Roku. However, the programs freeze way too often, especially ESPN, ESPN2 and CNN.
