I'm OK with this. I bought it so that we did not have to get cable but I have to pay for almost everything.

Reinventing TV

Bought this a month ago after buying a Roku pre-loaded TV for another room. Love that I can watch one device & pick up where I left off on another.

Works well

We bought this a month ago and it works pretty well. Easy to use, nice to have access to shows and not pay for cable. The remote dies/acts up frequently. We now use our phones as remotes for the most part. We have had to reset the roku twice. For the most part we are happy with the streaming.

Problems

I received this a month ago when I ordered the Sling app. The remote drains the battery quickly and does not work 3/4 of the time. Also, my old Nintendo Wii will pick up my WiFi better than the Roku. It's a major disappointment since I have enjoyed my Roku 3.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the Roku stick. I literally have anything I could ever want to watch at my fingertips and am still finding more channels and content to watch. Add in the fact that it can mirror stream from my Android device and now it is a must have product. For such a low price I am not sure why everyone doesn't have one. And don't let the Google moniker attached to Chromecast fool you. Roku is superior in every way including having much more content options. Thank you Roku. My tv viewing life has been changed forever.

I purchased our first one in February (2015) and we liked it so much that we purchased a second one in May (2015) for my Mom's room. I'm still waiting to get one for my room, but since I use my laptop, it's no hurry. GREAT PRODUCT! #GodsLove
