Freezes up

It doesn't nor has never worked. It freezes as soon as I choose a media to stream. I was hoping to buy 2 more for 2 more TVs in my home, but I don't trust the product.

I am so happy they asked for my opinion right now while I'm ready to hit it with a hammer!!!!!! Only gave it a 1 star because it's a great idea at least.

My parents got this for me as a present. The kids and I were watching the "bunny ear" tv and the Roku has provided so much more entertainment!

Its Okay, but the NIC is weak

Overall for the price its a pretty good device. I am not sure of the WiFi signal range, but I configured one at my place and was going to give it to someone living in a retirement community where WiFi is included. I could not even see the network when I attempted to set it up there, but my tablet would connect just fine. We ended up getting a Roku 3 for my friend and the WiFi signal strength was good. The remote does not always communicate with the Stick the way it should. Once in a while you have to press the key your interested in a couple of times before the Stick will respond. Most of the time though the two units communicate well and the reaction response time is pretty good. I saw no buffering or lag when a video was playing .
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm still having issues of it freezing especially during football which is a bit frustrating. I just leave it alone and it clears up. Other than that it's good.
Would like to know when and if STARZ will added in the future.

So many TV shows and movie choices free!

I've had my Roku for about two months. I am very pleased with all of the choices. I would like to see the Investigative Discovery,(ID channel) as a choice. There does not seem to be any problem with viewing the TV shows and movies as yet. The sound matches the video and playback does not take a long time to load before viewing. I have recommended the Roku to family and friends. Great choices free versus the expensive cost of cable or satellite. Thanks Roku!

I got the stick instead of the larger roku just to watch Netflix on and I was not disappointed. It is very fast and connects easily to wifi. The only issue is sometimes typing in with the remote is difficult.
