I love the Roku Streaming Stick... however, the batteries!!! My remote is CONSTANTLY eating the batteries. I have to change them once a week. There should be a way to shut the device off so that the remote won't constantly be linking up. Love it! Just wish I didn't have to buy so many dang batteries!

Worst. Have two Roku players I love. Stick is awful. Remote locks up and will not function. Reset it several times. Nothing works. Waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great alternative to cable

We have three Roku, and yes occasionally we have to Reboot, but don't find it to be that big a deal, it's great to have to keep up with my shows.i recommend this as a great product.

Cable providers are so interested in selling pre-assembled packages from their providers that they really do not look at what their products look like from the customers' view. Even the most economical program packages are mostly reruns, repetitive channels, and half of them are not what most people would even consider watching. And they demand customers sign a 2 year contract.
Roku has opened a whole new world of viewing pleasure that I can watch on my schedule. I can pause what I am watching when the phone or door bell rings. I can restart the program or watch it again whenever I want to.. I can save programs on my list for future viewing, which is a wonderful idea, I do not have to try to remember which programs I wanted to watch but look over a list that I have already chosen for future viewing. This list also gives me a time length so I can pick one that works with my schedule at that time and leave the longer ones for when I have time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We had Roku on our main TV and wanted to add it to a secondary set. The streaming stick was affordable and super easy to install. Works like a charm.

Fast, easy!

I bought the Roku stick for myself with my Christmas money and haven't regretted it once!
So easy to switch back and forth with my cable box but once I'm being the stick, the only problem I have is choosing what to watch.
Guess the only problem I have is that if I unplug it from power source, to take it to another house, the memory goes and I have to reset everything up again. Gets annoying, but other than that love this product!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Smarter than my TV

I was not able to watch Netflix using my smart TV. Was constantly reloading, pausing or not available. The Roku fixed everything, works smoothly and quickly.
