Love what it offers BUT with the stick, the remote is terrible, it works for a little while then useless. I even looked online to see if it was just me but no. I returned one for that reason then the new one did the same thing. Downloaded the iPad app which allows you to use your iPad as the remote and to often it saying "try again" or reset stick...Again, overall I like the device but it's obviously useless without the remote and the streaming stick seems to come with a bad remote.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pros: Has the big ones: Vudu, Amazon Instant Video, Hulu, etc. Has a couple of the Cable TV apps that I like.
Cons: As with most of these Streaming devices, there is too many apps that don't work correctly or just plain bad. Need more reputable TV apps. for example: All network TV apps, AMC, USA, etc.
Have to unplug it and let it reboot sometimes.

On my 3rd Roku device. The 1st 2 broke. Poorly manufactured.

Only issue is, the remote doesn't work for mine or a neighbors so we down loaded an app to our smart phones to use them as a remote.

I cut my cable bill to the bone

Any time I turn on my tv it goes straight into the roku menu. I cut my cable back to just 10 channels. I can find anything I want to watch on the roku stick.

Regret buying this

I regret buying the stick. The remote will not stay paired for more than 30 seconds, no matter how many times I try. I've read online that this is due to wifi interference. Amazing that with today's technology, Roku can't get this right.
