I bought this to watch nfl sunday ticket. The remote quit working the first day. I read online how to reset it and it still does not work. I have to use the remote app on my iPhone. when I am using it all of my other wi-fi devices in the house get very slow. Watching football the speed is off it looks too fast.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not the very best compared to other similar products such as the chromecast or FireStick.
Phone app is not easy to use.
It is got a lot of channels, thats is the only plus.
No Win10 support to mirror screen.

Great, except for the remote!

I love what this device does, but the remote continuously quits working. I've got it where I can retrieve it pretty quickly, but I find it extremely annoying.

Freedom from Cable

I was streaming through a blu ray player but some of its software was out of date; so much so that I wasn't able to take advantage of my Amazon Prime account with all the free programming. My techie son took me to the store to purchase the ROKU stick and I've been enjoying all my Prime account has to offer ever since. Thanks to my son and ROKU. Cool little tool.

Easy to Use

I got this free with my Sling TV subscription and have found it easy to use. The only problem is when I tried to download the NBC app, the player froze and I could not do anything until after I unplugged it for a while.

My ROKU stick was simple to install, easy to use, and has presented no problems since I purchased it about a year ago. I have one in my living room, and another in my children's room. I can stream what I like and ignore everything I don't. No need to install (or pay for) cable t.v. Perfection.
