ok but not all that

i found that not everything I wanted was solved by roku. very often I need to reboot, or wait for 30 to 40 minutes for a channel to load. the selection of free programs is limited.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great alternative to other TV programing

I got this Roku because I was tired of the cost of cable TV and I was looking for better entertainment. It is also much better than the cost and quality of some of the options offered in the movie theaters.

Extremely easy and convenient set up

It's much easier than the box and very easy to set up. BUT...the remote often loses connection and the batteries have to be taken out and put back in(at least that's how I get it to work again). Other than that, it's awesome!

I bought this mainly to use for Netflix but it has so much more than that! Watch Disney, Nick and HBOGO are some of my favorites

I bought 3 months ago and would not recommend,netflixs takes forever to load and times out constantly.

A lot better than Cable!

i have mixed feelings about our Roku stick! on one hand i feel it is far superior to Cable! and a much better value as well. since everything is basically on demand, watch something when you want to watch it. on the flip side our Roku stick freezes up a lot! especially when trying to play games. not sure if i just hold of a bad unit? or this is par for the course?

I have 2 sticks: 1 is fairly straight forward and makes viewing a joy; latest one bought is a slightly different device--very good, but not as easy to navigate as the 1st; however, the last bought has some features that are highly enjoyable.
