The Only Way To Go!

ROKU is so nifty..I wonder why I waited so long to buy my Roku Stick!
I am home 98% of the time and living in a multi-apartment building that supplies basic DirectV is no excuse for entertainment. My ROKU Stick gives me so many free options, so much variety and so many hours of pure entertainment..I just don't know why I waited so long to buy this! I also have the options to purchase other apps that supply a lot of movies and TV series. The best is being able to get a premium channel thru HULU for a small monthly fee...an no contract. This little stick provides me what I want....entertainment.

It is very easy to hook up through my desktop. I am also buying a new keyboard that will work with my ROKU stick..makes my life even simpler.

So, my first question (to self) was...what is Roku? Then, as I asked the sales person & checked value/price, I "stepped-up" & purchased it. Easy installation, easy operation, great delivery...Roku, where you been all my TV life?

works well but nothings perfect

Streaming stick froze once so far, reset didn't correct the problem and ended up unplugging it to reset. Remote button sometimes sticks while advancing thru titles and have to push opposite button to get it to stop. Not a big problem because you can use your phone as a remote with the roku app.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought my Roku stick with a Sling TV subscription. Awesome features and access to multiple streaming platforms. Fast with a crystal clear high definition picture. We are never going back to overpriced Cox cable again.

Constantly resets.

I bought my first stick and within one week it reset itself to factory settings 5 times. I exchanged it and then went on vacation. When I got back and tried the new stick I found that it did the same exact thing. And because it was now outside of the return period, I'm stuck with it. My Roku 3 never resets. I wouldn't recommend the stick to anyone. Also the back of the remote broke just by taking it off to put the batteries in the first time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
