Lock-up problems

I had an older version of a Roku device before and thought it worked well. This newer version (stick) frequently locks up on Hulu and Sling. This could be a problem with Hulu and Sling and not Roku, I don't know for sure. Usually the only way I can restart them is by restarting Roku itself. I do like the menu and certainly Roku is much easier to use than my previous cable TV device.

Easy to use, fast

I bought this to replace the Chromecast which we really didnt like. Roku stick is just what we were looking for. Its fast, easy to use, menus are smart, you can point the remote anywhere and it works! Only thing of note is the batteries it came with were almost dead. But overall we are very happy with the roku stick!

Most of the time my steaming sticks works just fine. However there have been times when the screen as frozen so I just remove the batteries and that fixes the problem

I will like to watch some Haitian Movies, I have a hard time connecting to their network, sometimes the remote does not work, i have to keep removing and reinserting the battery inside the port, AL-in All, i believe it is a great streaming devices

Handy but unreliable

I purchased my Roku stick about six weeks ago. It is absolutely wonderful when it works. However, when I first set it up on a Friday evening. I did everything properly but could not get on. A friend who, also has a stick, tried hers. While she could get on, she let me know the connection was EXTREMELY slow. So, I couldn't actually use my stick until the next day. Since then, I have been able to get on, but the connection is slow and the remote reacts late. When these issues aren't happening the other 80% of the time, having Roku is great!
