I bought this a month ago and it keeps rebooting emailed the Amazon and heard nothing. Complete junk

Love the Roku platform. Just not the stick

We own 3 Roku devices; The Roku3, the TCL RokuTV and the stick. I love the platform and my Roku3 and my daughter loves her TV. The Stick on the other hand feels sluggish and unresponsive at time and i someone have better response using the phone app to control it. If i would have known this i probably would have spent the extra money and bought the Roku3.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It seems that the batteries run down quickly and the remote has to be re-synchronized fairly often

I bought this Roku stick because my Chromecast stick does not work well. I love the Roku stick with the remote. It works great and I will be purchasing more in the future!!!

connection problems

We had previously purchased the Roku 2 for use in one bedroom. We really liked it. We decided to purchase another for the master bedroom and purchased the stick because it was cheaper. We have problems keeping it connected. If we do not use it for a week or two, we have to go through the whole connection process again.

This is my second Roku. Been using this for about a month. Bought it for the bedroom TV and wanted to use it for Roku programs as well as WI-DI streaming from mobile devices. Streaming is still in Beta and performance is not reliable but does work most of the time. I travel and wanted to use it in hotels for Netflix and Plex also.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointing

Really disappointed with the roku product. My friends have them and they are able to stream loads of channels. I have a smart tv, but, I am not able to stream much. Guess it is due to location of residence, in between hills. Except for streaming the news, not much else to watch. Old movies. I find that I just stick to Netflix, which I already had. Bought one for my son, tried to set up his Free Sling TV trial and it would not allow that. He never watches anything on his roku either.
