We have been using the Streaming Sticks on three TV's in our home. They work very well, and meet our needs for program viewing. Occasional glitches with the remotes, but has not proving to be a serious matter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I GOT THE ROKU FOR MY WIFE.....AND NOW GETTING ONE FOR MY OLDER TV IN THE FRONT ROOM.....

Keeps playing your shows even after you shut off the tv. Freezes constantly, not as many apps available as it shows on the box during purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It could be better

Its very good most of the time every now and then the remote is alittle funky like the battery is dead but its got new battery in it, and the apps like Netflix sometimes don't want to play so I have had to redownload Netflix a few times to make it work again

everything works well EXCEPT - sometimes the control does not work - i have to remove the batteries - put them back in - then it works ok
