Remote doesn't always work.

Initially impressed, we have to remove the batteries from the remote periodically to get it to work.

Bought this about a month and a half ago. We have a Smart TV but have been having increasing problems with the apps on it so this was to replace them, and also to take with us while traveling. It's been working great so far, though occasionally the hulu app needs to be restarted (if you've watched several shows already and/or left the app itself open on one of the pages too long it tends to freeze a bit, just return to the home page and go back in and it works just fine).
I would recommend this to a friend!

It has so much to offer but is difficult for me to filter through it all as most of it requires entering a lot of info over and over to view the channels. Most require a TV provider and we don't have TV through the phone company, that is why we bought the Roku, to not have to pay for TV.

No Cable only Roku

We stopped paying the high price for cable and now use the Roku only. We have the news and everything plus more just without all the advertising that we had with cable. Commercials are depressing, always a death of a child, shooting in the high schools etc. We choose what we want to watch and when plus we save $$$$. We say goodbye to high price cable and hello to the ROKU. We have the choice. Thank you Roku......

I am happy to buy this, it was was fairly priced, easy to use. could be a little smoother and snappier. Overall, great product.

Roku Stick

This is my first product review. I purchased the Roku stick because I didn't want to use my android device to stream to my television. After using the stick, I decided my android device is a better choice.
Pros: portable, numerous apps
Cons: remote is slow, lack the most popular movie/tv streaming apps compared to the google play store on my android device
