Great Product.

I've bought a Roku 1 and 4, plus 4 sticks and the Roku TV. I highly recommend the stick as a streaming vehicle for all my friends and family's TV. The only issue I have with the stick on certain HDTV is its close proximity to the TV, which sometimes shields it from the remote. Great product and supporting software, more streaming channels available than can be viewed in a life time. A must have at a reasonable price....

My in laws told us about roku and we purchased one and installed it we were so happy with it we bought one for every tv in the house. the only issue we have had is with cinnemax and hbo we cant get through a movie because it keeps stopping to load. we canceled our subscriptioin to both

Roku v Apple and Chromecast

I have previously purchased and own an Apple TV and Chromecast. I then decided to try Roku. All I can say is that the Roku is the simplest and most enjoyable of the three I have tried. Apple TV is ok, but it is slow and freezes and has to be disconnected and reset. Chromecast is a huge disappointment, does not work well and it has no remote. I like the Roku remote and the option for the roku app.

I bought this product years ago, and it didn't have all the features it currently has- YouTube, HBOgo, etc. But it has evolved over time and now is very competitive with my AppleTV. My only callout would be about the remote control and options to move forward or go back. A lot of times I end up back at the Home Page when I only wanted to go back one step or exit the App I'm in.

Easy to travel with

I take this with me on the go. The screen froze a few times however I took the back off of and moved the batteries around and this seemed to fix the problem.
