Samsung lives up to the name. This is my 3 product;those tv's have a great sound.the giga system you will not go wrong.good by Sony hello Samsung. Everything was very easygoing to hook up.i mean a breeze,sound is very good.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: could have beat light
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor Choice For A Antenna Connection.

Everything looks great, sounds great, with many bells and whistles. My only gripe is the choice samsung made for the antenna connection. There has never been anything wrong with going with the 2 screw down or the 2 spring loaded antenna connection with a 2 wire antenna. Write out of the box i had very bad fm reception with the 1 wire supplied antenna, none of my past stereos or even table top radios gave me bad reception. I then chose to connect my outside tv antenna up to this. Now my 2nd gripe was the dumb choice they made for the antenna connection, ready?...its called a Euro Jack. To connect a tv cable to the stereo you will need to find a ( F Plug To Euro Jack Adapter ) good luck on that and also a Female Barrel, female plug on each end. So now i have perfect FM reception and sound, the 2 things i was after in a new stereo. Now i just have to stop tripping over the TV antenna cord that run's across my floor. I posted pic's of the 1 adapter. Would have given 5 stars if i didn't need a outside antenna.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, big sound, somewhat on the smaller size
Cons: lack's fm reception, had to add a tv antenna

Simplified Sound System

The general style, use, functions well. Good sound self system with a sound boost. Wish the app was updated at operation. Well received otherwise.

Met most all of my rquirements

Having visited over five different brick and mortar stores and searched online for a replacement of a boombox whose CD player had malfunctioned I finally settled upon this Samsung unit. The only facet of this model I don't like is the fact that it doesn't play cassette tapes. However it has an AUX connection to which I can plug in my tape machine.
Setup is a breeze. The unit sounds very nice for being so lightweight. I love the fact that I can create lists of tracks that I like.
I don't have a new TV so I can't use the TV SoundConnect feature, however when I do need to purchase a new television, I'll certainly be looking at Samsung models that have MiNi Hi-Fi connections.
The timer function is very handy
Radio selectivity is quite good, we live in a rural area and the tuner still is able to clearly receive all our favorite stations. I especially like the fact that I set set the FM to receive in MONO as it enables me to listen to stations that are noisy when trying to listen in STEREO.
I look forward to exploring the various robust recording functions of this unit in the not too distant future.
It proves that Samsung is a forward thinking manufacturer as the unit's software can be updated. Exemplary!
Pros: Lightweight, mono fm reception, it has an aux connection
Cons: no tape player

Powerful item in a small package

I will say I am shocked. I needed to replace a broken CD stereo and this little guy surprised me. There is a lot of power packed into a small package. I am really impressed by the ease of Bluetooth connectivity. I'll give props to the app as well (only wish you could make a playlist)
Pros: Lightweight, good power
Cons: plastic looks cool but feels cheap curious on dur
