Reheat??

I've had this microwave for 1 month and have been quite disappointed. l got rid of the microwave that was in the house when I bought it a year ago because one of the problems was the Reheat setting didn't work. That had been my most used setting. I have to stop Reheat on this unit because it overcooks everything! And it is still in the "Sensing" stage when I remove the food.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this microwave to replace a 12 year old Kenmore. Like the sensor options, pops popcorn really well. Easy to use and understand the keypad

Fan sub-par

I've had this microwave for about a month. It works good. The thing I like least about it is the fan. There are 3 speeds, and the top speed sounds like the lowest speed. It doesn't suck as powerfully--even on high. Which essentially means you really only need one fan speed, because the medium and low are useless. In fact on low, you can barely hear the fan--it's useless! Then you have to press the fan button 3 times to turn it off. This gets annoying. And you cannot cut the fan off if the microwave is running. I am glad the microwave works well, and I do realize that my fan complaints seem nit-picky. But it is this one small annoyance that would keep me from purchasing it again in the future. I simply feel that a 3 speed fan on high should suck better than if it was on low!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this to replace one that was 7 years old. I then sold my house so really don't know how it will function in the long term.

Disappointed with Whirlpool

Bought new home with Whirlpool appliances. All three have problems. The microwave fan only works on low. The other 2 speeds do not work. The turntable was missing the part that connects the table to the motor. There is no Steam bowl supplied and I am told by the installer that Whirlpool no longer supplies the steamer.

Good use with average access for cleaning- love bisque

The unit is ok, but has drawbacks. The filter is so flimsy that it sags in the center and the mesh is too thin to filter out the oil. It is very hard to remove/install for cleaning. Plus you can't get inside to whip clean after use...its allows no access. Since the venting process gives no additional tight venting, I wanted to remove as my old model the bottom gray sheet for underneath cleaning, but the wall bracket prevents removal for cleaning. So as you read, we are concern about ensuring there is no oil build up sick we do cook on our range and employ the microwave fan for venting. We wish for a better way to clean the venting system after cooking and its filters. The top part of microwave needs work and not to lbe so cheap on strength.
