The chimes signaling that that the cook, timer, etc program is finished has no capability to make the time chime louder or different sound. Although the chime is pleasing to the ear, it needs to be made louder and sound level controlled by the user.

My New Microwave

I have had my new microwave about a month and am really enjoying it! I use it mostly to warm food up and would be lost without it. The panel options are easy to use and everything works exceptionally well. I would buy another Whirlpool product should I ever need another appliance.

Hot and quick

This microwave heats/cooks food faster than my new GE we sold with our home, but the description on line did not mention that this model did not have the automatic 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 minute heat option . . with one button. A slight inconvenience, but so far we like how it works.
