Don't buy this Whirlpool Microwave

We purchased this microwave on 05/18/14, less than a year and a half ago and it isn't working right. Appears the door doesn't shut and lock correctly for microwave to run. Of course, the warranty only lasts one year--that's convenient for Whirlpool! Very disappointed as our last microwave lasted many years!! We only use this microwave to heat water and re-warm leftovers--so it isn't overused. In the last few years, Whirlpool appliances have dramatically dropped in quality. I have a Whirlpool washing machine that is sub-par as well. NO MORE Whirlpool appliances for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
