Excellent Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave is much improved upgrade to our old microwave. It offers an array of innovative cooking options and is a better performing appliance that most other microwaves we have used. Finally, the overall design provides a more modernized look and feel for the around the same price we paid for its predecessor.

Love this microwave. It looks good, is not loud, like the chime when done cooking. This replaced one that made much more noise. This performs as should. Have not had any problems with it.

All of our major appliances in our primary home are Whirlpool and have given us trouble free service and long life. This microwave is in our winter home and we look forward to enjoying this appliance for many years.

I like the sensor feature when reheating plates of food: everythin gets hot without the outer edges getting overdone.

Hot to touch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Microwave itself works great. It's downfall is that it's made entirely of stainless steel. The MW is at the recommended height of 30" above the cooktop. Unfortunately, even with the exhaust fan on high, you can't open the MW door without a potholder. The stainless steel handle gets extremely hot. Other than than, good appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When our old microwave and hood combo failed a couple of months ago, we debated...get it repaired, or get a new one! We opted for the new one which gave us some great new features. We are still learning to use it, but we love it already.
