Great Features

I love this microwave. I bought it to replace another Whirlpool microwave that was 13 years old. My favorite feature is the programmable end of cycle beep. It is a pleasant sound as opposed to the blaring on the old one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This replacement microwave is more powerful and versatile than the one it replaced. I was able to match the color of my other appliances. I look forward to many years of effective service.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well built and attractive microwave. The only thing missing are there are no auto buttons for selecting cooking time between 1-5 minutes. I can only push 30 seconds or have to manually enter cooking timrs.

Excellent High Quality Microwave For A Busy Family

We just purchase d anew home, and purchsed the 1.9 cu. ft. Microwave from Whirlpool. We are a family of 5; 2 parents working alternate day/night shifts, 3 kids ages 9-12, and an elderly parent in her 70s.This Microwave has been a lifesaver in its ease of use, ability to do everything from a quick heat up of leftovers to steaming vegetables.Everyone is able to use it, and the design is very attractive in our new kitchen. Our septegenarian Nana and our 3 kids have no problem navigating the functions, which is a plus since everyone can use it!We also like that the tones from the Microwave are not obtrusive, they let you know when something is finished cooking but don't sound like an air raid siren is going off in the kitchen.This has been a great purchase and addition to our new home, and one that we would highly reccommend!!!

First month's impressions

I installed the unit myself, it replaced a dead unit. The install prove simple as the duct work was already in place. I've used the reheat function, choosing the "plate" setting. I've stopped the unit before cycle completed. The food was warmed nicely with no "hot spots". The exhaust fan is much quieter then our previous unit. And even though the previous units fan had the same CFM, this unit seems to exhaust much more. Cooking smells are really reduced.
